just a quickie for you knowledgeable types out there!

I'm just coming to the end of slapping a manual box on my previously auto Z, one thing that bothers me is if I leave my auto ECU in, do I need to wire the inhibitor switch into anywhere to allow the car to start?

Instead of this, what would happen if I plugged in a spare manual ECU (same age) into the car and tried that.

I've looked at the manual (for the UK car) and the manual ECU doesn't seem to detect that the car's in neutral for starting, as far as I can see it would only require one wire splicing.

Any ideas?
