Hi guys recently i've noticed a slight vibration on my Z tt which i believe is the prop. the car was recently converted from a auto to manual a few months ago by previous owner. i know that it had an N/A subframe and gearbox, i only feel the vibration between 30 - 40 mph and goes away after that. If the prop was taken apart and not aligned right can this caues the problem? and if so how can i tell if the prop's aligned? would appreciate any help cheers guys

If the vibe feels like it's coming from the rear seat area then it's probably the prop, mine does it but at a lower speed generally. I will be going down the 1 piece jobber from zed world road as and when I can afford it. There won't be any problems in the future then.

Im thinking of doing the same but this vibration is doing my head in. so if its a quick fix job won't mind sorting it out for now

ive got a manual front half with a bear that seems ok. i cant guarntee anything as i never used it but i had a twists or attempt on the bearing and it felt firm, and rotated nice and smooth.

As far as I know the prop shaft replacement is a quick job.... but best/easiest if you have the car up on a ramp/hoist and as part of the deal the your old one has to go back to them.

I can't remember the price for the shaft but it was well worth it.

Fitting split parts of two different props will be hit and miss as far as balancing as they are set up as a single unit, the famous centre bearing that many of us have experienced has risen in price at Nissan and now the one piece propshaft is the way to go.

We can supply the newly fabricated single piece prop shaft for both the N/A auto or manual for £225 + vat this is with your prop in part exchange.

As with the TT units the new props are fully balanced and are super smooth in operation, no more centre bearing issues to worry about and at a cost similar if not less expensive than having a new bearing fitted.

All of the work is done by our own fabricator so no waiting for delivery from the US and no import duty, and fully warranted.
