i am intending to replace my wiring loom as the connectors are broken, green, and furry and I notice that Z1 sells a range of loom options, for different age cars. I am also thinking of replacing my injectors...so the dilema is which loom should i go for (i understand that the latter injectors have a different connector to the early ones) and whats the biggest injector that i should go for on (currently) stock tubs and engine? (I plan to go for a dual intake, z1 SMIC and uprated Z1 ecu chip now as well, and i hope to upgrade engine and tubs later....)

any advice guys?

In my opinion on stock tubs anything bigger than 555s are pointless. Im pretty sure people will disagree tho LOL. I've got a set of JECS 600cc with GT2871R turbos.

thanks Rob - but is it a valid approach to go for bigger than 555 now and then get the full benefit when i fit the bigger tubs (i do have a boost controll so will be running higher boost)? will it over fuel on standard tubs?

i believe the later ones have the different connections as you say, the rail is also different and far more suitable for your aftermarket injectors. you can use a left hand drive version loom it just has an extra long portion to the ecu that can be tucked away. i dont think there is much point going over stock size injectors on stock tubs, you could use 555s. which would allow you to gte the most outt athe stock tubs but were probally only talking anextra 30 bhp. you would be better with gt28s or simular to increase the turbo power as it were and match them with some 555 or simular. but if im totally honest if your going go chasing 400/450+ bhp a proper engine rebuild with fresh forged internals will be the best bet. cheaper in the long run aswel.
