So having now bought Craigs Bose speaker boxes, i now need some speakers to sit in them. what would be the best type and kind to compliment what i've already got?

 

In the front i already have some 6" mids with a crossover and tweeters

 

 

 

And in the back i have the sub box from Mark with my two 10" sub and amp.

 

 

And i have one 6x4" in the rear compartments (the other one's f*cked, cheep ebay sh*te)

 

All powered by this (soon to be replaced)

 

 

So i need something to try and replicate the noise that i'm missing from a pair of shelf mounted 6x9's

 

So if anyone else has the bose enclosures, what have you got in them???

I'm happy with it....very. but have to keep the amp turned down because it drowns out everything else. thats why I'm finally upgrading my rears.

wattage? channel etc?

get some jbl's in the rear that match your fronts m8 ... if u do a High Frq cut on your head unit ... u can limit the bass to the main speakers and this in turn alowe u to crank up the volume more on the head unit with out it distorting and then u can set the bass better on the sub ... try and have the Sub Low freq cut as the same as the high end

not sure how to adjust the cut on the sub, not too sure what al the dials are on the amp, i know one of thems gain. Does it matter weather the rears are single channel or two? I don't have any idea what the output is on the bose amps though.

u wont blow any new speakers on the bose amp ....

Yeah on the audio menu its got levels for base, fade, etc, i've got the bass turned down now and then compensated for with the sub. i'll have a look on ebay etc see what speakers i can find.

Was gonna go for these bad boys. can't seem to find them in any shop though (halfords, motorworld etc) just online, and eBay seems to be the cheapest.

that shop is really good on prices .. used them before

yeah they seem to be the cheapest. like the idea of next day delivery too. just need to get the bose boxes first so i can make sure they're guna fit first.
