I didn't bother applying TBH; but a couple of guys form work managed to get tickets.

 

If I had though, I'd have had no trouble parking near the venue. I could have left the car on my parents' drive and walked the mile or so.....

My grown up daughter is going with some friends mext week. They have reasonable price tickets for a mediochre event( Handball. netball or summat???)

They are not too bothered about the actual game they are watching but just wanted a chance to feel the atmosphere and see round the whole Olympic area. Ie they are having a fun day out in London:thumbup1:

I turned down the chance to go with them cos Im a miserable old pensioer now!!!!:yes:

Olympics = MEH! The only decent events are the football, rugby and boxing which are all at a much lower level than the professional sport!

Too many Olympic conspiracy theories for my liking!

I spent enough time on the olympic park when they were building it delivering to various venues so sick of the site of it lol but i will be watching some of it on the tele mainly the equestrian and the rugby but thats only cos i sit and perv over the players lol
