im thinking of changing it myself its on the left side middle looks like i could grind some of the plenum away to get to the screw head ,anyone done this one before?

Usually when one injector fails, its not long before the rest follow, and they can be a pita its usually best replacing all anyway, z1 would be your best bet. though you could also try zcenter or MJP.

so where can i buy a new injector from??

If its a standard injector we have them on the shelf, £35 + VAT tested and warranted.

told you it would be an injector

I dremel'd my plenum to get to cyl # 4 injector a couple of months back, it took a while but worth it for future maintenance.

Yep i did the same when the front N/S one died , i found a dremel a bit slow so ended up using a carbide burr cutter in a cordless drill , worked a treat , as for the screws holding the injector in , i used a screwdriver with the right size of phillips head and gave them a couple of sharp wacks with a hammer just to help break any corrosion that might be furring the screw up and they undid really easy.

One thing i found really handy was one of these , not only to pick up any bits you might drop but to see what your doing in the tight confines of inbetween the plenum.

Once you,ve done your dremeling , make up a small pipe to fit your vacuum and clear out all the swarf before pulling the injector out .HTH
