I have been getting some smoke from my passenger exhaust for a while, comes and goes so not a constant. This lead me to think that it was my PCV valves needing to be replaced as I was still boosting well and my oil levels were not dropping.

 

Had the car jacked up today doing an oil change and noticed that there was some oil around my passenger dump valve.

 

Could this still be the PCV's or do I have a turbo on the way out soon?

Cant rember which line the pcv vents into but thoertically it could be spitting oilout the bov.

I had the smoking issue on mine and turned out to be very thin oil being drawn through the pcv circuit.does yours only smoke on idle?, as that was the only time mine smoked.More or less as soon as I drained the old stuff out (castrol edge, approx 1200 miles old) and refilled with 10w40 semi it stopped.When I removed the pcv hoses you could see they were full of oil, now there is just a light mist in them :)

Yeah only on idle and then not every time. Just put some Magnatec 10w40 into it see if that helps and should get my aftermarket boost gauge firtted this weekend to see if my pressure levels are where they should be.

Undo the boost hose at the butterfly and look at the inside of the hose if there is oil present this will indicate the oil is comming from the turbos.
