Last week I fitted all my suspention goodies but I have got a small problem now as my car now hops round corners when being pushed hard. So what i would like to knpw is if you have these shocks fitted to your zed and if so what did you set the settings to as I have mine set on the soft setting at pressent. Plus did you have a problem to when going into corners hard. :)

In answer to your question I dont know as I got these second hand brand new and im unable to get hold of the old owner at this moment in time

For Street and Circuit Use

Specifications

Top Mount Type : Rubber Front, Rubber Rear

Front Spring Rate : 8kg/mm (448lbs/in) Rear Spring Rate : 6kg/mm (336lbs/in) For Road Use With Occasional Track Use.

Front Spring Rate :10kg/mm (560lbs/in) Rear Spring Rate : 8kg/mm (448lbs/in) For Track Use.

The 10kg/mm will be hard and skittish on bumpy roads

Rear end hop is often a sign of being oversprung. Its not the dampers its the springs.

Paul has alrady alluded to this in his post.

Contrast the rates paul has quoted to my Meister Rs which have 4kg and 6 kg springs.

A high spring rate is needed for fast cornering on smooth race circuits and it is race technology that has produced most coilover sets. On the majority of Britains road network those same high rates will lead to "axle hop" which is what you seem to be describing.

I think 4kg/6kg is the most common it is on 200's anyway(I know there lighter) this gives a comfy ride with stiffening things up enough for uk roads, the higher rates are normally used for track and drift

If it's hopping then increase the damping, simples. If you do this and get the spring under control but the tyres skip across bumps then yeah spring rate too hard for your application.
