My zed failed its mot on the fog lights not workin. Changed the bulb but they're still not switchin on. Anyone got any advice on what else it could be?

Featured Replies

Guessing rear as you don't need fronts for MOT. As it looks like yours is a jap spec the fog light will be someones homebrew fitment so is hard to say what could be wrong.

have you checked the fuse?

engine bay fuse box, could also be the relay... relays of the same colour are interchangeable.

swap it with another one to test if that is the problem, that is if the fuse is OK or if the fuse is blown and blows again...

might be easier to fit your own pal, can get some real nice LED units for not a lot of money on gaybay

Is the LED unit still on the bumper?

Fitted LED Reverse and fogs into the rear panel, either side of the 300zx legend, looks smart and its a tidy installation (no hanging lights) mines also a Jap import.

Same here :)

yes i used my inner rear brake lights as fogs as you too sets either side ..works a treat and passed the mot ..better than having a horrible thing hanging from your bumper
