air fuel meter question

how far should the gauge read at rich/lean?

ive been getting some smoke ,eg id left the car idle for a while(about 15 mins)and it was very hot here.

when i pulled away i got a load more smoke than usual, out of drivers side pipes

the colour seemed normal greyish

not black/blu or white

could this from running rich at idle for a while?

thanks jay

Jay, where did you connect the AF meter to on the O2 sensor loom? Near the sensor or at the ecu???

Needs moving m8!!! Apparently if they are too close to the sensor they affect the reading.... Not sure exactly why.... You need to find the relevant pin on the ecu...
