Question about boost levels, but not your usual type of q.

I was just wondering how much boost a non-chipped standard ECU map can handle safely? Assuming you've got all the other stuff like an EBC, decats, cone filter etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

Seriously tho' it's not so much the map as the injectors giving out. MHO would be 1 bar.

No, but I was wondering if a slight increase to say 10 or 11 psi would be ok?

Dont think that would be too bad.......try it and any hint of det just turn it down.

I was just wondering really mate, will be getting it chipped properly when I'm done.

hmm personally I wouldn't touch the boost at all until I'd had a remapped chip, but I guess a couple of pounds above stock should be ok (but don't blame me if it goes bang!)
