Can anyone identify my clutch model

I took my clutch off last night and found it to be a twin plate OS Giken item, nice! I've seen these highly rated by alot of people on here so im hoping someone will be able to tell me which model it is exactly? The only digits i've found on it are in the second photo but on the OS Giken site they relate to several different clutches.

The end pictures are the friction plates, they look thin to me, what do you think? Can these be resurfaced or do I need to buy new plates?

First time i've seen inside a clutch like this and im not familiar with all the parts. I've written what I think some parts are under the picture but if you can put the number and what they actually are i'd be grateful....

Cheers guys

3. What's this blue plate that sits just inside the clutch cover?

4. What's this? There's one between the blue plate and the first friction plate and another between the friction plates

Ok yes know that model of OS Giken clutch well, they are very high clamping on/off and very noisy in operation producing a very load ringing sound when in neutral unless the clutch is depressed.

They are very high end as I said and as such very expensive, circa £1500+ there is a repair/reconstruction kit available that includes all of the friction plates and the intermediate rings from O/S Giken, last time I checked it was £800!!

What you need to consider is what power you will end up with and what you want from in terms of driveability, say a puck clutch will be strong but can be give a small judder at take off especially when fitted to an old flywheel, full face clucthes are nicer to feel and give the best all roundness providing power is not over 350psi, a used OS Giken clutch is still worth £200 to £300 + even if worn out so maybe use that to buy something else, for me I do not like the noise they make but thats me.

Nice one Jeff, thank-you. That is alot of money to refurb so I might have to rethink that one....

Do you remember what sort of bhp/torque figures these can handle?
