Rear Judder at braking

grr annoyinh little problem, when I brake I get a judder sound from the rear wheel behind driver. its more of a clattering type scrapy noise when im going braking lightly at low speeds, any one got a clue what it could be before I go out and my wheel drops off wink.gif

Check the rear pads - mine did similar and one of the rear calipers had stuck, wearing one pad down to the backing plate - creating this noise...

ta andy I will take alook, they were replaced about 2000 miles ago, i hope they havnt gone again.

 

 

ive been under her best i can and everything appears to be in place, im guessing its either the brakes or rear steering rack

Check all the parts of the brake shimms are in place correctly and the split pin is in place, although it does sound like something else?

 

Last time I had what seams to be a rear judder at times, it turned out to be the bushes on front tension bars that had gone.
