Well done for all the hard work you have put in, ive been there , but not to piss on your parade, you can still see the sanding marks in the last pic, you need to put another 20 hours in at least  to get it like a mirror

I want to polish mine but I don't think I could be without my zed for that long. I'm slow at these things as I get bored easy.

Might be a winter project I think

Get another plenum and do it at your leisure, thats what i did, i didnt want to be without mine either lol.

They'll polish out over time!, lol :).......such a massive difference I can live with to odd small mark tbh.

Looks great.

Can i ask what bolts you used for the throttle bodies?

Havent used laquer, as I laquered a v6 calibra plenum and it yellowed over time :(

Throttle body bolts are stainless steel m8 allen headed capscrews , as are the coilpack bracket bolts :)

Drilled and tapped a spare pair of inlet cam covers ready to re-route pcv hoses once the plenums off, get the pcv outlets off the exhaust cam cover to stop it picking up oil and drawing it through the pcv's.will spray the covers before they go on. :)

I'll polish your plenum, you make me brews!, lol ;)

Nice work on the plenum, I don't understand what you have done and what you plan to do with the crankcase gases. Are you ditching the PCV valves and venting it?

both pcv's vent from the passenger side exhaust cam cover........by moving the pcv vents to the highest point on the inlet covers (as in the photo above) its virtually impossible for the pcv's to draw oil through the system.the pcv valves themselves remain in their original positions on the plenum, its the pipework that is different in the way it is routed.

No problem matey......seems worth doing whilst the plenums off as my pcv valves and hoses are always oily, and not just oil mist oily if you know what I mean :)

I had quote to get the plenum chromed. They wanted £600. Are they crazy? I could get it professionally polished for much less lol
