Z wont start after some work

I have a '91 NA that has recently undergone some major surgery all at once... mainly a replacement engine and a manual conversion using TT gearbox & parts.

Anyway I got all the fluids done at the weekend but it wouldnt start even after about a minutes worth of cranking, made no improvement in attempting to start so I figured something was up. I haven't checked for spark yet but theres definately fuel, just wondered if I had missed anything with the gearbox conversion? I haven't ground pin 44 on the ECU yet but that wont stop it will it?

Will be looking at it tomorrow and unless anyone flags anything up I'll be checking connections & ptu etc.
