Hi guys,

 

The passenger side back box has been banging on the body when lifting off the power.

 

I got underneath it and put it down to the exhaust being in the wrong place on the hangers.

 

I moved it into the right place but within 10 miles it has moved back to where it was and is banging again.

 

What can I check and do to stop it moving?

Replace the exhaust hanger rubbers?

 

Maybe the current rubbers have stretched and are allowing too much lateral movement.

Cheers buddy, was hoping for a free fix but will give it a shot !

Should be free if you go ask a garage nicely (kwikfit or national tyres) ask them if they have any exhaust rubbers as yours is at home and cant move till you get some. you can always offer a couple of quid for them, but 9 out of 10 they usually just give you some (well they have when i asked lol)
