Some jobs today but not sure

Got my steering wheel yesterday so thought Id do a few jobs.

Got the electric windows working, radio fitted into the right place, fitted the red stitched gaitors (apart from the armrest as need some glue) and the centre consoles ready for the gauge holders and gauges to go in.. Trying to build up the bottle to cut a hole in my dash.

Pics below;

I was looking at slowly building a red and black interior and same in the engine as I learn more.. Now ive started Im not so sure..

What do you think...?

Also the space below the radio.. What have other people done here. Ive seen Marks gauges which i like but 3 gauges is enough for me..

I had a 2 gauge holder in re bottom of mine in the past. Think I still have it in the garage with a couple if gauges if you want a look.

I have some good glue you can have too, it's a spray type (got like 12 cans and I didn't even use 1 when doing mine).

I'll come and give you a hand if you like too.

Some red interiors look nice mate once it's all done. Plus if you do it with leatherette rather than proper leather i don't think it's too much to change in future.

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

Looking good. Personally i wouldnt chop up the dash, i dont really like that gauge pod. A-pillar pod is a waaaay better idea.

Is that a carbon stereo surround you have?

Thanks Guys, Im not into fast and furious and not sure if its heading that way..

Might go for the pillar post, but lee wouldnt mind a look at that gauge holder.. just been out and bought a hot glue gun.. typical but feel like a real man now..lol..

need some help on the vinyl though as thats coming away in some places..

Gary, it is.. needed some gentle trimming but I found the clock as much use as a chocolate fireguard, couldnt find anywhere to put the turbo timer and its gone in really well..

BigC, I bought if from ZXTT, 1 to see if I liked it (its like a stuck on trim) and 2. it frees up my own parts to play with and send off to wicked coatings.. Im waiting to see Mark Derbys in the flesh before committing though...

It looks very tidy, I like that wheel, and I really want your handbrake handle.

Looking great mate and if your seat's are in good condition I would keep them the way they are.Is that an HKS turbo timer in where the clock should be?

seats are oin great condition and both electric. I was looking to re cover them n leather.

why do you say keep them the way they are?

Looking forward to seeing the red zed in the flesh..

Here's that dash thing I had in mine. I don't have a picture of it in the car for some reason.
