Assuming you didnt need any work done like a new engine or anything major :) What would you spend £2000 on for your Zed?

Engine mods? Bodykit? Interior? ICE? Suspension? Big Brakes? etc

or would you replace the parts that may be tired or worn i.e. all the bushes, Ball joints, bits people dont think of till they fall off!

I know I would have a nice Mines ECU over new ball joints any day :-)

Just curious to see what you guys would get.

See ya,

Trev

lol , now here is the funny bit.

the practical side says get everything working properly and keep it maintained,, but the stupid side (my brain) says a big brake kit, lower the car and maby a nice bumper.... (well thats what i would do)

Big brake kit from tarox 6 piston 330mm = 1100 squid

Lowering springs from eibach = 140 squid

bomex bumper = im not to sure lol

mine would go on another two subs and amp to make me the daddy of the z's when it comes to ice

ice smize, then you will also have te slowest z lol,, did you see that guy on the ttnet whose car burnt down completly due to a falty kicker sub?

Burnt down???? My Kicker Solobaric sub went up in smoke last week in the back of my Z. I'd melted one of the voice coils!! Doh!! At least I'm not the only muppet out there!!

slowest or not its still gonna do 170's and with my new audio capability my subs are pushing that much air behind them its gonna give me a jet effect lol.fast z's are good at trackdays and such but i use mine day in day out and i want reliability over performance and as i live in the centre of manchester with the tops off and the tunes up im gonna pull fanny for fun.for most peeps all that speed is no good to them anyway as when they meet a nutter like me who will race anywhere most of the bods round here dont even try it anymore

I would like to custom fit my boot space out with £2000 worth of beer.

...exhaust, Blitz, yummy! Blitz intake, even yummier and I don't think that I would get much change out of 2 large would I? If I did, then JWT ECU! Will be happening soon, watch this space, if I EVER get my car back...hint, hint!!!

LOL!

Tim

Here - here.

Timmy_Two_Turbos;

I've been a'wondering since I started lurking here why your TTA is Missing in Action..?

Please don't say some little ball-less Twoc'er made off with it frown.gif

BTW if I had 2k to spend on my [theoretical] Z, I'd start with a 4 foot CB ariel, racing slats on the rear screen, rostyle 14 inch alloys, pink wiper sheaths, fog lights under the rear axle, furry dice, a four branch manifold, a 'gone-grassin' winshield sticker, self fitted window tints, a max power sticker and the de-facto class add-on; some racing dodge viper stripes...

Oooo I can't wait...;-)

Glen, not so much getting his coat, as trying to catch up with his coat which left an hour ago smile.gif

Glen, you sound like a chap with style ;-)

You and Craig have to get together... Craigs got the furry dice already (an' I aint joking LOL). I think his Rostyle 14 inch alloys are on back order! he he

When I was looking for a motor I test drove a black supra.

Someone had put a little sticker on the back. It was black (like the car) and about 8" by 2". In white block writing it said 3.0i turbo.

I have no idea why but I thought it was more tacky than a GAZZA 4 SHAZA sticker across the front windscreen confused.gif

Glen,

No not really M.I.A., just seems to be a fitting accolade seeing as I have only driven it once in seven months.

It's currently waiting to have the engine rebuilt. If all goes well I should have it back soon..ish!!!

Tim, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your engine's sorted soon as well..... mine's next on the line at SE after yours.

Let me know how it's looking - any dates sorted yet for its return??
