no got them from z1, it didn't say that i needed special belts though...

the first of my 2 orders....

they are ridiculously light compared to the std set.

Just ask Z1 mate, they must have the belts.

You are going to notice a massive difference when these are fitted. I mean MASSIVE.

On My old Mitsi GTO TT, I took it and had induction, manifold back exhaust, waste gates, boost controller and remap done, which made huge difference, but just a few weeks later, I had all the pulleys swapped out for ultra lightweight ones, and damn, the difference was insane, even more noticable than the first lot of mods I had done.

No Idea Harby. They dont actually give you any power as such.

But the car becomes so much more responsive, and obviously uses less power turning the belts, and thus gives more power at the wheels. combined with a light weight fly wheel, you could see around 60% drop in power loss before it hits the wheels. But its the response. honestly I never believed it till I tried it. I only bought them as they looked shiney in the engine bay. But if I was to ever mod the Zed mechanically, that would be one of the first purchases. whats point increasing power to the fly, when your still losing so much to the wheels? makes every upgrade after give more power to the wheels.

thanks i can use the nissan numbers at work monday,

they make a huge difference because they weight soooo much less, in the same way the light weight flywheel works.

less weight the crank has to spin, didn't expect loads of power just more resonsive...

Its all about reducing unsprung weight. As someone has said, putting lighter pulleys on reduces the amount of effort the engine requires to actually rotate those pulleys. Basically it just makes the engine more efficient.

Yes they do need specific belts, you can either get them from AMS directly, or conceptz or z1
