Another annoying rattle

Does anybody else with an Auto have a really annoying rattle when accelerating hard from the little plastic bit around the gear selector?

If not how do I fix the damn thing!!

Ummmmmmmmmmmm been there done that - take it all apart - stick some sticky backed felt to the slider plate thingy - job done!

Problem is it takes an hour to get to it!!!!

I’m thinking that too, but it’s going to be difficult to stretch to that.
It would at least mean a very well built and strong engine that I know will last.
Keeps it originality a bit too.
going to keep driving it in the mean time and enjoy it and see what happens. Feels like it’s got a terminal illness! 😂

Set of Pistons Purchased in 2020, fitted to my current build and barely run in,
Upgraded to a size bigger so these have sat on the shelf since doing nothing since.
The rods are stock out of a 1996 TT.
Not sure what these are worth so PM me an offer.

so while refreshing my engine found out its actually got two bent rods 🙃 looking for rods and pistons for a TT stock or aftermarket :) let me know what you got :D
