You know the set of warning lights that come on when you switch the ignition on, go off when you start the engine?
Well, my orange one (picture of an engine, maybe?) doesn't come on any more... I don't have an owner's manual so I can't check what (if anything) it means.
Or is it possible that it's just a bad connection or something? I was faffing about with RapBoy under the bonnet & around the ECU, and it was after that that it stopped coming on :'(
Also, an aside on speed restrictors: How are they usually delimited if you don't have a speedo conversion? I have kmph clocks, but I'm not hitting a limit at 112mph.
What got me thinking about this was that I was reading through the manual for my Apexi digital speedo/rev counter, and noticed you can simply cut the speed signal wire to the ECU, and feed it a "speed signal output" from the Apexi (which takes the original speed signal as an input).
I didn't get the Apexi fitted, so I don't know how it was done. I looked at the wiring around the ECU but gave up trying to understand it.
I guess my question is: Is this a viable way of delimiting? And if so, roughly how does it work (i.e. what's been done to the speed singal out of the Apexi)? Is this another possible cause of my apparent speed sensor dodginess (speedo goes off the scale, steering goes heavy, Apexi reads 0mph)?

Long post, sorry
