How have you been trying to do it? I haven't done it myself yet but I would have thought that you just need to pop the ball joint on the arm. Take the old one off, put new one back on then connect the ball joint up again.

Buy a universal split gaitor, always easier than taking any joints off, dry and joined in 20mins.

didn't know such a thing existed. lol Would be MUCH easier to do..

About £8 from any motor factors- partco-unipart-ses etc

cheers mate, very handy to know. Would give you some rep but I need to spread the loving, apparently.

i did it the fun way, undo it at the tracking adjuster arm until it comes apart, take the gaiter off, put the new gator on, wind the securing wire on, then screw the two halves back together, as long as you do not move the tightening nut your tracking wont be out.
