These must be the nicest standered wheels I have seen for sale :thumbup1:They have come from Japan so they dont have the wide UK rears but they look so good and love the tyres also. What do you think guys would you have them on your zed? I would.

Just seen these myself and no I wouldn't but can see the attraction.

On my first car at 17, I white painted the tyre branding, the size and any other letter/number on there  thought it looked well dope

they are pricey but do look good. but yeah 18" for me too.

Would look great on a black zed check this one out

I like the standard wheels - but do wish they were a bit bigger......

.....but the chrome does look good on a black car. I think Phil82 has them on his ZX and that looks good....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Me too mate, just wish the were a bit bigger. It's not the look of the 16" ones that bug me it's not being able to fit larger brakes behind them :(

Chrome is the work of the Devil ! I thought it faded out in the 70's !

Phil has got them, he polished his himself, and they look really good. we actually thought they had been chromed. I'm not a lover of the standard wheels but i was impressed with phils.

Me to mate, I used to have it done on my Capri and looked great:thumbup1:

Haha.....I did mine on my 1.6S Capri as well, first two cars were Capri's, second was a 2.0 Ghia

I am not a fan of the stock wheels or chrome wheels either for that matter but they actually look quite good! :thumbup1:

I still wouldnt have them on mine however!!

My first Capri was a mk2 1.6GL then three 2.8i Capri's:thumbup1:

I had a mk2 1600GT with a black vynal roof - what ever happened to black vynal roofs?!

I also had an Avenger Deluxe - what was deluxe about it I will never know!!

Mine was red with black vinyl roof it was my first ever car (after driving my dads Maxi)and I loved it.

I like the standard wheels too, but they are designed with a purpose in mind, to cool the brakes.

like so....

i see a set of them wheels on a white zed in the states i thought they looked great ,anyway i was in the capri gang to many moons ago this was one of mine<a href=th_Capri2.jpg' alt='th_Capri2.jpg'>

I had a Capri loan car from a dodgy garage where I bought an even more dodgy celica gt4. It was hand painted lime green with a ridiculously loud exhaust. I was a mobile beautician in posh stockport at the time and I think it cost me a couple of clients who didn't like it parked outside their houses but I loved it. Cost a fortune in petrol tho, made the celica seem economical!!

I have never seen Avenger and Deluxe used in the same sentence before now sign0141.gif
