Having disconnected the stock solenoids to enable a boost controller, the knock sensor must still be active - (?) Surely if this detects detonation and switches the ECU timing/fuel maps the detting will get much worse?? - I guess it's down to the maps that your aftermrket chip has set for normal running and running after knock detection..?
