Speedo has been playing up and sticking at about 210 mph (needle sits over the +14 mark on the stock boost gauge) and yesterday my chief test driver, Mrs Turbo, reported in to the pits a problem!

 

Speedo playing up, loss of power steering and HICAS light came on. When this happened to me a few weeks ago I noticed that the Techtom was still showing speed accurately in MPH so would this rule out the speed sensor? More likely the Speedo???

I had problems with heavy power steering and hicas.....

 

Changed the Speed Sensor and all was perfect!

Yep, I'm with Eric on this. If the Techtom is right, then the ECU is getting the right signal, which should eliminate the speed sensor.

I think Matty is right as I only found out this afternoon from my other half that the Techtom had read zero on the speed when it happened!

 

Speed sensor then?

Had the speed sensor done been ok for 3 days then guess what,speedo plays up etc,heavy steering ,hicas light etc,must be shaged speedo now causing it,ha well,back to the hunt for a speedo!.
