thanks for the info just bought a pair of 10" mutant subs, (picture is a scale model of the boot, spent ages measuring) with the space below where the jack etc are should give enough of a box with these subs.

haven't decided on if i should use more then 1 set of 6x9's in the top yet, or if i should mount anything in the panel with the amp. (not alot f room due to a stut brace.)

if you want sound from the back try not to face any vocal speakers towards the rear window

use one pair of decent 6x9's and have them angled to the cab ...

if its for show ... then by all means get a smaller set of speakers beside the amp ..

but make sure your 5ch amp if your using that ... that it goes down to 2ohms on Main speakers plus Sub

thanks ill play with the design maybe a 45 degree angle on a single set of 6x9s, would point them into the cab better,

i have 4 good tri-axle 6x9s just wanted to use them...

what about this?

lol...:tongue_smilie:

when it was parked up at japfest there were so many people looking into its boot looking for something, felt kinda silly all that was there was a dirty carpet and my lunch...

the speakers facing the boot lid will be hidden all most by the boot lid surround ... but should be ok due to angling them you will have some Projected in to the cab

the other 2 u will not hear nothing from them inside but will sound good with boot lid open

oh and bring the Amp board forward by 4" about level with the spare wheel and then u can pop the amp behind it and have hole/perspex to show it

had another go, re measured and their is enough clearance to recess the amp (the amp im getting is fairly thin, ) but not to bring it forward as it makes it to tight for the targa roofs.

angled the rear 6x9's in as well as forward,
