Plastidip and importing

Hey, not sure if many of you've seen plastidip from the state but I really like it as I want to mess around with ideas and stuff on the car without actually painting it properly.

The problem is that try can't ship it over here... Is there a problem shipping it or does anyone know if you can get something similar here?

I've seen the plastidip uk site but Im thinking it looks like different stuff to be honest.

That's the uk one but I don't think it's the same as the one you get in the US, the one in the US can be peeled off when you done

You got any pictures showing what it looked like?

Have you seen pasti dip and the states? I think the website is plastidip.com. And it's all over YouTube but nothing for the uk stuff and when I read the website they seem to be completely different products and companies.

Also te company from the states says yet can't deliver to the uk. Nothing about a uk company

ah that's where the confusion is...the US company is Plastidip whereas the UK based company is Pastie-dip....very similar in name but the Cornish company's product has been developed to ensure that their pastie coated products don't peel.....and if you've experienced a UK company's product peeling...well that must have been a poor copy Ginster's product!

So, if they are different, can I import the paint supplies? Could get a friend in the states to send them if it's allowed

Yes its a Uk company Lee, based in Hampshire. You have to use their primer too and if done in thin layers, should not peel. You might have had a contaminated part you were painting, which will have reacted with the paint.

But I want it to peel off if I wish. That's the whole point.

I don't think it's the same stuff that you get from dipyourcar.com
