looks like a may of blown a piston ...

 

soo its forged time looks like

but gonna be off the rd for a little time and going to

miss some shows looks like :(

 

any one got a good bottem end with forged parts they want to sell ?

Not as such but one of my heads was a little down on comp and I was thinking about getting them both sorted. Just can't afford it at the mo.. :(

yeah with my upgrade hoping for 500hp there abouts maybe i'm only 50hp from it

run a diffrent map and little more boost

 

Getting to the magic 500 bhp will take quite a few mods.a rebuild wont give you that much power back mate.Big blowers aint all thats needed if the heads and manifolds wont flow.Id say your dyno was rather generous if im honest and in the real world youll need quite a few more mods to hit 500.

Id port and polish the heads,get AMS Exhaust manifolds and you should be there with a custom map.

Nismo 740cc injectors

Unorthodox Racing lower pulley 4 piece set

Carbonetic triple plate clutch and flywheel

Blitz + custom decat/titanium wrapped exhaust

AEM EMS (mapped by Greg @ Protuner)

AEM MAP sensor

Greddy 3 row fmic

Twin HKS intakes

ARC bovs

Blitz AFR (1st bank) + APEXi AFR (2nd bank)

Dragon Performance grounding kit

*I've been advised by Greg to upgrade the fuel pump and fuel filter (I assume that a single Bosch 044 would be sufficient for 500rwhp and have looked at Aeromotive filters?)

and have also been advised to invest in an intake temp sensor before attempting to MAP it

**Cooling sorted by ARC oil cooler/Koyo Rad/Greddy expansion tank/accusump/vented CF bonnet & vented CF front panel*

I would say more likey the 600 figure plus. Its AEM tuning therefore alot more to offer than any plug in chip. In fact i would say Greg would be able to tune it to top the dyno board on here anyway.

 

Why not shell out for the rest of the head upgrades with oversized valves and stuff while your at it :)

If you stop by when you're back you can take a look at what's already fitted to Monster's old heads. He spent a fortune on having it all done at Whifbitz so they may even be oversized valves that are fitted. I wouldn't have a clue to be honest as I've only got the Ztech heads as a reference. The Cam pulleys also look like AMS rather than the OEM that are on the Ztech heads.

 

I need to get it all put together and run in because I reckon I'll kill the lump that's currently fitted, by the end of the Summer

You'd want to chuck a set of Eagle rods in there as well surely Mark..... Have you seen the rebuild kits from Z1 and conceptz?

jaffas car is getting a remap soon.watch this space.big numbers are coming.650 flywheel at least.could hit 800 too be honest.

 

lol, we'll see :) Most of my sessions get over 500 fly at low boost and low RPM, but then hit a problem or other. One day I'll get a clear run at it!

as been told today that all the wiseco pistons are oversized

On this i would think if you were going to prepare a slap up dinner for 2 with all the trimmings would you present it on paper plates?

 

Maybe it is worth going that step further or risk having another engine go bang with trying to push old parts
