Have got a smoke problem on idle, when engine is warm.i changed the pcv valves and all the hoses the other week and habe heard it can take 500 miles for them to clear....is this true?.smokes worse on the drivers side, but only on idle, once you drive up the road it clears.smoke is whitey grey in colour and smells oily with a hint of fuel, dont appear to be losing oil or coolant.

yes can take at least 500 miles to clear after replacing pcv's took me most of the time the zed was on the road last year to clear the smoke (i only did 650 miles last year)

I know its been answered somewhere before but where can I get some as mine need to be changed also?

took the drivers side pcv and hose off earlier and both contained some oil, which was quite clean.I hope this is the cause of the smoke and not turbo seals.if it was the turbo seals would it not smoke at other times rather than just on idle?............

Did you ever get to the bottom of this one?

I got burning oil smoke out the driver side exhaust on idle at times. Replaced the PCV valve and have certainly done at leat 500 miles and it still does it from time to time.
