During the only 30 minutes I wasnt at home today Yodel Couriers tried to deliver a small pkt. Fiat Punto brake pads. Typical you are in 11.5 hours outta 12 and thats when they come.

But it gets worse

He leaves a calling card WITHOUT PUTTING the TRACKING NUMBER on it, so now i cant arrange a redelivery cos you need that tracking number.:gun_bandana::gun_bandana:

The only alternative is to wait in a call queue for over 10 minutes on a premium number phone line.

i have just sent a message to the Ebay seller to request the number from them. Lets hope they have it.

Whatever happens the pads wont be here for the weekend when I needed them.

So if you see a YODEL man and his van tomorrow please ram him and tell him how unhapy I am.

Some people just cannot do their jobs properly nowadays mate......

......yet there are supposedly 2 million people queueing up for jobs, some of whom would do a good job in whatever they did; but sadly it's the numb-nuts that occupy these positions at present!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Alan............

Its just home delivery network (HDNL) rebranded because they got such a bad reputation (just after xmas they put some clothes i had delivered in my wheelie bin along with my rotting turkey carcus) and a lot of big companies dropped their contracts. I went to pick up from their depot a few weeks ago and the building was still branded HNDL although the vans were yodel

Yodel is a rebranded version of one were all familair with but icant for the life of me remember their name lol, the big red and yellow company I think, dhl?. And yup shite!

I've had so many problems with yodel and yes they used to be dhl. On several occasions now booked though parcel2go I've booked for a parcel to be picked up and they don't bother to turn up. 3 times in 1 week after having to re book over and over last time I used them. I ended up telling parcel2go to stick it as they wasn't no help at all. They still wanted me to pay extra to have the parcel delivered on a sat even though they failed all week to pick the parcel up. What a joke

These were the guys that put a 2 feet gash down the side of my van and cracked the rear light. I was in at the time and actually saw the truck get very close but figured since he drove forwards he hadnt hit it.

Went out to it later on and saw the damage, went to a neighbours and got the tracking number of the parcel, called the company put me through to fleet, who put me through to claims who put me in touch with a chap from their insurance company, two weeks later he calls me and says yeahh.... Our driver says he didnt do it, and the drivers mate (clues in the name!) says he didnt do it either so I said thats hardly a fair witness. To which the insurance company stated that the guy working with him wasnt a biased opinion!

It was a 7.5 ton truck and I think it was either the taillift metals or the corner of the "box", obviously not going to recieve any damage from the panel work of an astra van! My own stupid fault I shoudl have gone and checked at the time but you'd think if someone hit a car outside someones house they would get out and go "sorry mate" but no...

When I was a kid, we used to play a game called 'Knock a door run', it's still played today, but now they call it 'Parcel Force'.
