my new zed has got a 3 " exhaust system, from d-pipe to tips - b&b.

 

Its very very loud outside, and inside its horrible - deep - hurts in the ears.

 

Has anyone the zcentre catback? Is it ok inside the car?

I assume you mean the japspeed system he sells, ive got one bit droney at 2500rpm below is grumbly above sounds great.

When does it start to get droney (this word i was searching for *g*) and when is it over?

or is the peak not really wide?

mine is droney from 2-3000rpm, so its bad whenever i hold a current speed...

with the japspeed system i found its really deafining in third so mayby from 2.5k-4k other than that its a nice sound iv got a video somewhere of the sound

never mind the talking at the end..ma da was just in fae the pub

that sounds nice ...

 

you could by a baffle for your back box .. this will make it sound a little lower

get decats, it makes it louder but considerably reduces the drone. its still there and after a 2 hour drive you can tell but its so much better than without decats mate.

ive already decats - magnaflow 200 cell

think i take the z-c testpipes with silencer too -

and weld in the magnas... With the round tips i also could install a baffle

 

now ive got four oval tips, doesnt work that good

At their site exhaust costs +70 gbp compared to z-c

I bought the down pipes with silencer from the zcentre as i had the same problem with the drone, especially at motorway speed 3k revs, which helped a bit, then i replaced my japspeed catback, with a mongoose and much quieter now. I also soundproofed the inside of the whole car, cabin, doors, roof everything, which helped even more.

The Japseed catback is cheaper from 2fast2cool on ebay, who buy loads in bulk from Japspeed. HTH

ah ok, they must of been doing good prices. zcentre is plus vat here which is 20% so this may also account for it. and as for 2 fast 2 cool you can but ask :)

Yea I see what your saying but id rather pay for postage from Austria than America as that's what I've been looking to do.

 

What type B&B exhaust do you have single, quad round or oval.
