Seeing as I was replacing my lower front ball joint and my anti-roll bar drop links, I turned my attention to the front shockies - best to replace before they totally rust away maybe?

I can't really justify £500+ for coilovers, so what's a decent replacement for the standard shockies? I have Eibach springs fitted and want to keep them...what are my options?

Cheers - Andy

If you want to keep the Eibachs & dont want the expense of Coilovers then the best choice IMO is KYB AGX shocks - I have them & they are an excellent combo with the Eibachs :)

bloody hell were they off of the titanic!

on a serious not tho i would go for some adjustable dampening shocks at least then you can quickly adjust for a stiffer ride for "play" days and soften when your back hurts after the play day.

kyb's are quite popular.

I've got a bad back as it is, I really don't want a stiffer ride :wheelchair: :)

As for the state of that shockie - yes, it's a wee bit corroded isn't it?

Ideal, now the hard part, fitting it :)

Nah, I'm sure that it's a doddle :smash::smash::smash:

I've dismantled all the NSF suspension, funny how once you've started you've just gotta take the whole lot off :hyper:
