A good friend of mine told me this today.

 

Personally I am disgusted that he is just carrying on as if nothing has happened. He did not have the common decency to come online here and give Daz the courtesy of an apology or explanation; instead Chris just hid behind his "personal issues." Yet he still has the time to visit other car forums and advertise his car for sale. Furthermore, knowledgable of his "questionable" trading activities, said car forum still allows him to trade freely.

 

I am morally satisfied that 300zx.co.uk took the steps to ban Chris Bower from our club, as an example that we will not tollerate such despicable behaviour towards our members.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Pete - it's always a fine line to tread but we did give Chris ample chance to set things straight before deciding on such a drastic course of action. But one thing is for sure, we will not tollerate this behaviour; and would certainly never let him try and trade again. Unbelievable IMHO....!!!

And not just down to you eh? Tony - I am not usually vocal as I try to remain professional - but shove it mate. We're just not interested; if you want to harbour a thief and encourage such despicable behaviour then do so. But it seems the moral high ground remains ours - as we have standards. And for the record, we only banned Chris for life AFTER most issues were resolved; and after giving Chris ample opportunity to come on here, apologize and communicate with Daz. We did not cut off any lines of communication.

Allegedly of course. Not to mention that Pete has not actually been active on here since March 2009. You know full well we cannot give out personal contact details owing to the data Protection Act. No wait, you wouldn't - since "certain individuals" on your committee effectively stole data that did not belong to you in order to set up your new club.

 

Furthermore since it was 2 or 3 years ago that you dealt with Pete, what on earth do you expect to accomplish by opening up the matter and pursuing it now? Plus I did try to help you as far as I could recently; but owing to the time elapsed there was nothing else we could do. So harbouring a thief here - I think not since we have not openly let someone continue to trade after blatantly ripping good folk off.

If you have good internet skills you can change your username and ip address and get round the ban as several banned members have done.
