I heard this on the wireless (thumbs up to those who remember this expression) this morning - hell I had one myself all those years back.....

 

.....got mine in '83 though as I still had a ZX81 when the Spectrum was launched!

We've got a couple of em kicking about. Might have to raid my other halfs 'nerdy computery stuff' collection if they are worth money!! I remember the days, sitting for ages for the tape to load, only to have it fail and having to start all over again :(

I've got a few of them matey. A couple of original 48K's an amstrad +2 and a genuine Sinclair 128K (before amstrad ruined them) :)

Remember 'Daley Thompsons Decathlon'? lol...used to kill my fingers playing that game! :)

ThaT was the commodore 64 not the spectrum!! Early games had yellow and blue lines around the boarder and later ones had a countdown timer!! Loved my first ZX though! Started off with the 48K and got a 128K+2 later on which had the same sound chip as the Atari ST!!

 

Oooh!! I might just have to pay my folks a visit this weekend......:shifty:
