So what parts do I need to put an NA subframe and diff on my TT to complete this set up please plus what are the pros and cons with this set up on a TT ??

Featured Replies

NA

Sub Frame

all Arms and Hubs

Diff and Half Shafts

Complete Center Drive Shaft ( lot easy then Mix/Match Na/TT shaft )

Basicly just need the complete back end of the NA car

then all your going to swop over from your car will be your disc's,brakes, calipers, handbrake pads

its really easy to do ...

are you manual or auto chris as if your auto u will need complete NA Auto center drive shaft

but if you struggle to get that u can take your TT Auto front half and Join it to the Rear Half of the NA shaft ..

but you will still need the Complete NA drive shaft for parts :)

No mate I'm manual so you say it's best to have the full drive shaft ok I best make sure it from 2+2 then and not a shorty

yeah if your manual just make sure the car size is the same ...

fit the complete drive shaft try not to take it apart in the middle as it/should be balanced

As I have yet to get an answer to this question I will ask it again " Can you please tell me the difference that it makes when fitting an NA rear subframe with diff to a TT and also what are the down side to doing this mod thank you

it will accelerate faster !! ... but lose about 20mph from top speed ... about 170Max instead of 190ish ...

and No Hicas on the rear

other than that there's nothing different in handling

I looked into it and came across mixed veiws, it does increase the acceleration, lower top end and make the car feel more responsive. Hower real world dictates use of very grippy rubber to make full use of it offf the line, first and 2nd are a hail of sp ok n with anythinv but a near stock engine. Its quite popular in the states because of the amount of nad out there converted. I put up a thread over there and was pretty muvh talked out ou gh of I th as I want ws d the car to retain some sort of managability basicaly I didnt see it as worth the effort or cash, others may wel disagree and I may even talk myself back into the idea. Also swmbo said no lol.

all i can say on that is u dont know what your missing ... :) even with 400hp on tap the car drives fine dont have any problems with Grip

only using 265's Maxxis on rear so not the High'st priced tyres

but how ofter do you ragg a car off the lights. I never would do that as its a proper car breaker

you mean you dont have traction control and you drive a zed?? you must be mental

:lol::lol:
