so i got my zed out today and noticed the psi on the oil was sitting just over 60 when cold which i think is normal,but when its up to temp and all is running well the needle is sitting just over the 0 and under the next line ,seems its a common fault and its to do with the oil sender or pressure switch anyone had this problem before

Yup - the pressure sender switch always goes bad....

 

.....you can buy another OEM item from Mike at MJP - but it's around £90!!

If you ever get a sender unit not working , check the small oil input hole to see if it is blocked a lot of these units have been saved by drillng out the hole again with a small drill useing a small pin drill chuck.

can you point me in the right direction on the engine ,ive not had this problem before ,,,,,anyone got the part number of the part?

if any one can take a pic that would be a great help

.... in the parts catalog it shows it on the drivers side (only accessible from under the car) towards the back of the engine, near the oil filter.

but mine is on the passengers side (near/behind the engine mount)...

no you can leave it like that forever lol!! a good oil change can sometimes work. it did for me :)
