so i bought some targa blinds from a jap 2+2 zed and they dont fit! they measure 15.5 by 22 inches. my targa roof along the front edge as you look up from the drivers seat (edge that runs from left to right and mates with the windscreen edge) has a thick plastic strip runnning along it, on both screens. this strip sticks out and the blind wont is too long and overlaps this strip so the blinds cannot hten be attached. it appears that (if you made sense of my description) i need targa blinds that are 15.5 by 20 inches!

does anyone else have these plastic strips on their targa roofs?

I will find out for you when my mate pops round in his UK spec.

I've got a pair of blinds that will probably fit your car. I recently purchased these thinking they'll fit in my 2+2 Zed but they didn't. When on the targas there was a strip of about 1" left uncovered at the front. I reckon that's the plastic strip you're on about which I don't have on my targas. I will see if I can get the exact measurements for you tomorrow but if you want them then I can send them to you. Let me know (dannyzaat@yahoo.co.uk).

Funny you should mention that but I was sat in Macca's UK Z at Billing and was looking at that strip thinking I'm sure I didn't have that on my import...

Didn't really notice why they were there but just seem to fill a gap to improve the appearance I think.
