Sorry to hear of your woes Del....

....as everyone has said, luckily you're Ok and your kid was not in the car with you either. Whilst it looks a pretty pricey repair (gotta love insurance companies) the club spirit has been strong and I sincerely hope that you can save your ZX with the fantastic help offers from other members!!

Good luck with whatever you decide mate; we're all behind you.

Richard:sad:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Del, Have you had your insurance check the car over? If not I would seriously get it checked by a bodyshop before deciding to rebuild. There may be structural damage to the frame that would make the car dangerous.

Hopefully there isn't but it's best to be sure mate.

My mate owns a Bodyshop he is coming to check it before I start anything then il take it from there can't do anything till I get back home

great family spirit on this. forum .........wouldnt get this from the porsche owners club .....i have spare headlights as well and my family live in M'bro

if you need them i could get them moved from morecambe and dropped off at the hotel for you ...good luck with it mate ......these zeds remind me of early Yuppies in their porkers spinning at speed into trees in the 80"s .....got to give em some respect in the damp or they will bite your leg off

Good to see you got it back but it looked better lying at the bottom of the embankment, you have had a couple of great offers so hopefully you can get it fix!

Sorry to see your car that way i dont know you but glad your ok. I would think the in surance may whant to right it off. As they tryed to with my son's . Let's hope know structural damage, we got all your parts of ebay and rebuit the front of his and now its as good as ever. As was said on here you can rebuild a car just as long as your ok.
