new stock ones will still be a massive differance over what you have now. it all depends on what you want from your car.

just about everything is uprated on mine and is a bit of a bangie ride but worth it. I would love to feel how smooth a stock zed is on new running gear hmmmm

I hear coilovers are too hard for british roads

there fine. depends on what spring rate you go for and if it has adjustable dampers etc

depends what make you get as the Meister ones are outstanding and a very soft set up

The state of our blooy roads at the moment having too much of a stiff set up isn't nice!! Combine that with skinny profile tyres with no absorbing properties a lot of people fill find themselves skipping over bumps and loosing there fillings in there mouth!! Unfortunately our roads are just shocking, and not nice and smooth like a race track where you would benifit from a stiff set up.. As carmad says, new standard shocks over 20+ year worn ones make a hell of a difference without being uncomfortable. Gotta ask yourself how much time you spend driving around on the public roads to actually benifit the cost of fitting uprated suspension over standard. When they made the Z32 they didn't sit there and think, hangon wait i've got an idea, lets fit some really crap suspension to it!!!

Fit standard ones. I'll buy your Meisters :)

That would be me, stiff as and great fun as my toy. but in all fairness my little 206gti is a much harsh ride. Ive got 8kg springs on front and 6kg on the rear so my springs are only 2kg up on stock springs. turn the damper on soft and it is a nice ride. but zero roll.

Shove it on the hardest setting an i cannot get abouve 40mph its so crazy
