I think most people just stick a dummy or broken maf on one of the filters and use the normal one for the air flow. Unless you are going for a standalone setup but that's a whole new bag of fish...

Just connect it to your maf as standard, shouldn't make a difference. Have you got a pic?

It should be the t piece tube - maf - filters. Have you removed the old box filter completely? It sounds like you've left a bit of it behind.

Aah, got you. It's been so long since I did mine. lol. You can either remove them or leave them in, upto you. They're as you say, ducts that fed air into the old filter box. Think they should just pull out.

I have the twin set up and it works fine on mine , i,ve heard of a few that,s had running issues using this set up though
