hey guys, i wanna sell my Z, its just not enough for me and im starting to get bitter about it. really small niggly bits that bug me that if it was a TT and i was happy with its performance i would happily overlook as a , ill get to it bug...

 

However.... the engine runs faultlessly, sounds awsome, But it just isnt a TT.

 

im looking for a TT, preferbly a MAnuel, i know for the money im likely to get for mine id be lucky if i could afford a 1.0 Nova. but i mite be just, pesimistic.

 

So i was wondering if you guys could give me a rough idea of how much my car is worth, i wana put it on here first as id rather it stayed to the club, but, if i was to put it on ebay i know id sell it faster.

 

problem is, i only have my car as collateral to pay for a new one, so it needs to be a sale then buy over a weekend as i need to drive to work.

 

 

so basicly what im asking is.....How much do you guys reckon my cars worth, and if you could keep an eye out for a TT goin cheap,good engine, dont care bout bodywork..

If I were you I'd steer well clear of a cheap tt you really would be asking for trouble, keep yours for a while longer and save to buy a decent tt, big Jims asking 2k for his which seems like a fair price for a good condition manual n/a although his is quite rare

 

Anywere from 1500-2000 would be reasonable imo

well iff i got 2grand for mine id be over the moon. im just not sure its worth that? i dunno lol. depends on your taste i suppose.

 

i just want a TT with a solid engine, bodywork rust wise isnt a issue for me as its my job lol so i can sort it no problem.

i think you would be lucky to find a buyer zeds aint selling. Last one i saw sell was Peach`s NA manual shorty and that car was quite something even then i suspect less than 2k. The whole late model thing doesnt sell. It has to be a real steal on a NA to sell and with so many trying to sell i think you have 2 hopes. Just the way things seem to be at the moment IMO.

Selling yours for a good price is your first hurdle... Buying a 'decent' tt for the same price is your second, higher hurdle... Doing it all in the same weekend... That's some challenge! Have you considered saving a few bob and buying a tt engine as an option?

i have thought about a TT engine, but then i havent got the space to do the swap for one, and i cant really handle the hassle right now,plus id need the brakes to go with it,etcetc, its a big job a TT swap. and a weeked just wudnt be long enough lol. seriosly tho, i think id rather buy a TT, dont have to worry bout the paperwork and all the legal poop that goes with the conversion then

i thikn youve made a great choice sam! nothing like the feel of the pull under boost :-) i paid 2k for mine with 97000 ish on the clock, its a uk manual though which i wanted, i personally wouldent touch an auto for this type of car, but thats just my opinion, sure some will disagree lol. and if youve got some rust need sorting you could help do mine at the same time lol!

yea id love a uk manual, but ive not got any spare moolah so id only have what i sold my Zed for, which i doubt will be enough for a manual tt, but then i just dont like my car so i would say that lol,

 

although, i really liked it yesterday at blackrock sands :D:D:D:D

welll......i did dust off my drifting skills lol. but what do they expect? i mean it was practicly empty!, that part of the beach anyway :D.

 

there was like a group of boyracers huddled up in the middle so me n the pulsar where drifting circles round them ! haha

 

i managed to convince my mate to stay still so i could see how close i could get to his four corners, it was awsome! haha mustve been about a foot away from him all the way round, + he had my mrs in his car so i couldnt resist stick my finger out the window with a cheeky grin :D
