Try these companies, they have all given members here good quotes:

footman james/Graham Sykes/Sky insurance/heritage/swinton/Lynbrook/Houghtons/Broadsure/sureterm/MCE

Sureterm gave me the best quote of the ones i have tried from that list so far.

Good luck!

if it's a import don't bother with Heritage as they won't insure a fairlady I am with Highway part of Liverpool Victoria through Adrian Flux collectors insurance second car limited mileage

Thanks guys, I'll be checking them all out...bloody frustrating my 1990 n/a was insured as a classic ten years ago...10 years on this n/a is 5 years newer but not a classic :( Oh well!

Don't fret bud, some companies I called said they considered Zeds classic from 15 years old, I just can't remember which ones. I would try Footman James and Sureterm first personally as they come up very good time after time. Don't forget to mention you are a member here for discounts:cool2:

give lynn brooks a call ...

my car is insured on classic (94) plate

Same here (95) plate import TT, hell Lynbrook even quoted me £207 fully comp for my '96 Toyota Granvia van, and that's hardly on par with MG's and Triumphs as far as classic cars are concerned

Just out of interest mate, what 'mods' are Footman James happy to cover on a classic policy?

They wouldn't quote mine mate, it was the suspension and brake upgrades that they didn't like :surrender:

Too complicated to try and give all the variations on here and there are some strange things that come up every now and again.

Mostly performance enhancing mods that aren't liked particularly if they're giving big bhp gains.....and boost controllers in particular....they're like witchcraft so must be evil!

BIG THANKS to Dave@fj ...got the job sorted for me :)

No worries at all mate, happy to help. Get the targa's off and take her for a spin in the sunshine :)
