well since iv been using my ipad to control my tv im now wanting to use it to control my lights sockets ect. anyone on here have any experience with these systems?

im an electrician so altering the wiring isnt a problem just need to know what equipment i need

lol found what i need lightwaverf do all the stuff i need and have actually looked at the in b&q about 110 for the wifi link box then just buy the switchs is £60 for a double dimmer but i can just do it room at a time gonna get the lights and sockets done in the living room so i can turn everything off at night save some electricity

So have I got this right.....you are spendind nearly £200 just for starters, do you know how much electricity you can get for this much, absolutely years worth for low wattage items :tt2:

yeah but thats boring lol been wanting to get this done for ages but just never really looked into it. wifes not to happy about the price lol

yea - and while your at it swap all your TV's, DVD players, audio equipment etc for old units without remotes too! I would also suggest getting rid of your electric kettle & going back to one that you put on your hob that needs removing manually. Ditch the central heating with controller for some coal fires while your at it too. Much better :lol:
