Took the missus to the shops last Saturday in the truck. Did my usual thing of parking away out off everybodys way. Not another car near me. Came out and still the same, the Ram sitting on its own. Shoved the stuff in the back and the wife walked around to get in, and a belter of a scratch, two doors and the front wing ! Not best pleased to say the least !!

Doesnt look much in the pics, but several bits were through the lacquer !

Got a chance to attack it today, so brushed in some two pack lacquer with advanced drying stuff in it, gave it a light rub with 2000 grit and blend prep,

Fast cut and then Farecla hand glaze, finishing off with the Ice wax. Not invisible, but a whole lot better !

Showed the rest of it up, so went over the full car !!

According to the wee in car readout, best I have had in top gear, just cruising on the motorway at 80 was 23.3 mpg

She does 38mph for every 1000rpm in top gear. About the town, 16 ??

Playing ? 12 ?

looks like a dent at the end of that scratch as well if im not mistaken, trolley for the lose.

Only Just been Mcdonalds with the kids, watched some asshat in a VW polo get out and stick his rubbish in the wiper blades of a lowered hatch sitting next to him, so i went in and told the guy who owned the car lol. fecking hate muppets like that.

Yeah, wee dent is still there. Wonder if any of they miracle dent doctor type chappies might be able to sort it.

Paint would be a nightmare to match probably, quite a chunky metallic in it when you are close up !

My eyes keep going to it as well !

Alan..........

had someone do the same to my mondeo ... been key'd all the way from back to front

had to have my car sprayed on that side

there fooking **** thats all i can say

That really boils my piss as well.....

.....Like you Alan, whenever I park in a public car park, I always park out of the way, in an end bay right over the outer line as far away from the adjacent space as possible.

And nearly always, when I return some twonk in an MPV has STILL managed to park right up next to me. I had that happen to me this morning in Sainsburys - when I got back to my car, sure enough there was an MPV next to me. I was a metre away from the white line of the next bay but still the arsehole had gotten too close - and to make matters worse, his wife was the size of a small elephant and I just managed to see her brush past my ZX with her hand bag.

Boy did the b*tch get some abuse for that. I honestly despair at the lack of respect people have for the property of others nowadays:angry:

Luckily there was only mild surface damage to the laquer so a quick buff with Megs ScratchX and all's well again..... Not the point though!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
