Well, ive been driving my new zed all week! Ive used it for work too which is something ive never done before.

It does look good, and it feels good when you can see it all day.

EVERYBODY looks at it, i hadn't noticed it in my other zeds, but that might be due to the fact i didn't drive them much in the daytime.

Now, my main concern, and it is a big one, is that its too slow for me. I thought it would be fast enough to keep me entertained, but it just isn't.

I dont drive very fast, but like to feel the boost come in before i let off, and im just not getting the buzz.

I does make a nice noise tho!!

Now, its either a TT conversion, or i'll px it for a TT!

The red ones engine will live on very soon as it gets transplanted into the hillclimb car ... Did you ever have any engine/valve problems with it Jim ?

How do you mean mate? I never had a problem with that car, but Voddy might be more help as he had it longer than me!

There is nothing wrong the speed of the N/A with supporting mods, like i have, however i kinda know what you mean, which is why i want a TT for weekend fun, but continue using the N/A as my daily driver.

No major problem but did find an old very cooked bolt down one valve chamber when the plenum came off !!!!!! Lol no damage though

What mods have you done mate? Mines just got a cat back exhaust.

Cheers

Lightened flywheel, single lightweight prop, lightened underdrive and water pump pulley, full stainless zorst, japspeed manifolds, zcentre downpipes and mongoose catback. Aggressive ecu chip. EGR, AIV,deleted, O2 sensors deleted, everything on the engine is cleaned and polished/painted. Ali intake pipes, air filter.

Does go like stink, but because of the chip the vvt doesnt come in till higher in the rev band than normal, so have to boot it for the full effect lol.

I enjoyed driving my NA but I'm also a bit of a boost addict so can relate to what you're saying!

Thats sounds good, but i wouldn't want to spend that much on an NA, rather put it towards a TT!

I built up all the parts over a period of time, so didnt feel the pinch of the cost, but i never intend to sell it, so im happy to continue till its finished, then start again on a TT or another N/A for a V8 conversion:drool:

yes! do it!!! little birdy tells me you can do a vh45 transplant for less than £3500? that tickle your tastebuds?
