this car is gonna be the bain of my life. !!!! bought her as an auto tt and coudn't find anything wrong. but now i've replaced all running gear with manual na plus all the easy mods...air filter, pulleys ,exhaust etc. deleted loads and now i want to get onto the next job she gives me another! anyway i've found a 35mm in diameter hose near egr ,behind plenum that needs replacing. can this hose be done without plenum pull?

love the car but surely one day i'll be able to come home and not need to do a job on her. the list seems to grow ,never shrink!!!!

35mm hose will be the ones going to the heater matrix ... ( thickness )

others around that place are 2 smaller ones for turbo water cooling but there about 3>4" long about 12*mm

and two others yet again for turbo water right down on the back of the engine to the left

EGR removal is a pain in the ass with engine in place

eaither way plenum pull makes it alot easer

ive found my zed needs fixing less the less i drive it :p best way to eep it working is stop driving it. jokes aside ive atually found the opposite the more i drive it the less it ****s up.

, probably not , having owned 8 of these cars last 11 years there is always something on a near monthly basis of things to repair/upgrade/sort out , its something that comes with owning one . If its a stock car(very rare these days) you may be lucky , but sooner or later even then you will end up with something to sort out .Take one a my Z's from while back, after 3 owners inc me the total reciepts were frightning, over 30k:scared: but thats half the fun , though exrteme example i admit , they sure aint no shopping trolley with minimal outlay, take my modified Golf Gti 1.8T , great car , ultra reliable , only thing i do is oil and filter every 4k , thats it, you get in it knowing its going to be ok and on the button , but i cant honestly say that of a ZXTT , cos every time you get in one a strange feeling creeps over you, it may be going great , flying along etc , but you know that sooner rather than later its going to bite you , but lovers of these cars keep going, they get under your skin, obsession creeps in, the look, the performance , rarity ,and making the car individual to you , all ads up to a roller coaster experience , not many old motors out there can do that . Will i get another , of course , theres nothing like them:cool2:

LOL - very true mate!!

My ZX is a weekend/holiday toy but I generally find that the more it is used, the better it runs.....

.....By the end of a week's holiday and over 1000 miles later, it seems to be running better than ever!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
