Does a Na Manaul gearbox differ form a TT one?

Just thinking out loud at the minute, but might be a conversion on the cards. No good if it wont work!

yes you need to grind the inner bell housing to fit at the bottom side and need a spacer for the starter motor

  • Author

Have you done it before mate?

Would you do it again or was it a pain?

Cheers for the info.

ive done it its easy you can get the proper spacer for CZP in the US to step the starter motor out slighty

The issue iirc is that the tr flywheel is bigger so as gonzo said the bell housing requires some

Modification and the starter spacing out. Quite a few converted zeds have an NA box I think.

Hi,

not sure if this is any good to you, for parts / bits.......

I've got an old manual gearbox off my TT (the synchro from 5th to 4th was playing up so I replaced the box).

I'm happy to part with it for a few quid.

let me know if you're interested.

i've put na box on my tt. but i didn't grind gearbox as i've used a decent clutch on na flywheel with prop complete with na subframe. no problems goes like stink!
