Important news regarding this years show and shine.

Entry to this year's Show n Shine competition will be on FRIDAY 7 SEPTEMBER. This is to allow the winners cars to go on show for the Saturday and for all the winners to be seen by everyone attending JAE. The winners enclosure will be in a key central location and all the cars will be fenced off so those attending JAE can look but not touch.

Prize giving for the JAE Show n Shine winners will take place on Saturday afternoon, in front of the winning cars and, for the first time in JAE history, the winners will be seen with their cars at the awards ceremony. Entry into the competition demands that your car is available from 10am on Saturday until 5pm the same day and is only display in the winners enclosure.

Judging for the Show n Shine competition will take place all day Friday. Just pitch up at the Kleers judging area and our friends from Kleers will do the rest. You will need to fill in a form and register. if you do so long enough before the event our friends at Kleers may even send you a goody bag before the event! Forms should be sent to the address on the bottom of the form

If you want time to prep your car you can bring the vehicle in from 5pm on Thursday 6 September. To do this we MUST have your form in to us before 1 September, only then can we let your details go to our security and they can let you in early.

There are awards for every make of Japanese car so plenty of chance to win GOOD LUCK!

And last but not least, all the info plus forms regarding the events is available from the main website.

From 16th of july, you will be able to send cash to the club for advanced tickets, we will have a 2 week cut off date before JAE to give us time to get the tickets posted out to everyone.

There are other means if you wish to buy your own, one is the ebay add listing already posted, if you wish to do that.

when sending cash to the club for advanced tickets, you can pay via bank transfer into the club account, with ref JAE ADV TICKET, and same with paypal, it is then advised that you PM AndyP with time and date, we will also need your address as well. for those who do not have a PM function, i will list alternative means to contact someone with your address and payment details (ie when you payed and how) from the 16th onwards.

I would be able to make it for the day.......but its says I cant park on the club stand :(, dont fancy parking with everyday folks!.

If you have a ticket you can bring your car in mate

Not according to the first page of the thread that states

If you are a single ticket holder you will not be able to park on the club stand, This also applys for non Japanese vehicles there is a secure car park for your vehicle available with a very short distance walk to the JAE entrance, all Single ticket holders have to leave the event by 10pm and are not allowed to enter JAE events held over the weekend.

Unless the info has been changed

If you have an advanced ticket, (£25) or pay for the weekend on the gate (£30), then you can come park on the stand as long as its a Japanese vehicle.

If you pay for a 1 day single ticket on the gate (£10 , there are no advanced tickets for 1 day passes) then you will be asked to park in the public car park, the ONLY time this is wavered is on the Sunday.

So advanced ticket / weekend ticket = entry to the stand.

Single day ticket = no entry to the stand unless its Sunday.

can you leave in the car at night then return the next day? or would the car have to stay in the whole weekend? its just we are trying to find if il have my car all repaired to go down but with having the baby my wife wants to stay in a hotel rather than camp

Shouldn't be an issue with that Del but you will have to pay for the full weekend !

You get an arm band when you enter, the colour denotes if you paid for a weekend pass or not, you will be able to leave and then reenter the next day if you have the weekend wrist band on matey, so not an issue, just do not remove it.

Fuggles said those turning up on the sunday should be able to enter and get on the stand as there is no camping sunday night, though if you want to be more careful you can pay for the weekend. ask on the gate when you get there bud, could save your self £20.
