Well, after a long wait for a slot in the bodyshop things are finally moving along now. Went to see how the old girl is getting on today and I am very pleased with the results so far. The shell should be ready for collection mid next week and then the fun part of putting it back together.

Niiiice. Wish I could have had a look at the workmanship gone into that when we popped up the other week.

That,s looking the mutts bud , a guy across the road from me has a black mk2 RS2000 with an original Ford xpack fitted :drool:, supposed to have been a barn find in Ireland ! he says he,s gonna restore it but i,ve seen the work him and his brother do on their cars and believe me he,ll fooking ruin it , if it was for sale and if i could afford it i,d have it off him :yes:

done all the metal work/rebuild myself and the paintwork was done by a company local to me.

Well, the RS had to go back to the bodyshop for some rework to the the paint work but is now back and things are really coming together.

Not yet Dave but im planning on getting my zed ready for paint in the next few weeks.

il have a look in my shed, its all stuff left over from my build most of its still in packaging majourity its brakes related.

its prob a 2.0 they do look tiny lol, but they are very deep. long stroke i spose really plus the cylinder is longer than the stroke, and teh sump pans hold about 8 litres of oil!
