18s. 19s in my opinion give to smaller sidewall profile. and 17s are too small, however it has to be said the stance or offset settings etc are far more important than the actual diameter. the stock 16s can look great when spaced out :)

shocking ask people to put pictures of there car up and no takers!

Trouble i have round here is the roads are like swiss cheese so i was looking for a slightly bigger side wall than the 35 profile i was running on my 19's so wanted to see some zeds with both 17's and 18's

18" forged Rays off a 350z.........sorry the pics arent a bit better. One thing to consider is the difference in tyre prices for 18s vs 17s :)

thanks guys and im def leaning towards 18's but always good to see both options before i decide

18" are good, got enough tyre wall on them to not worry too much, im on 19" and i love them to be honest they actually still look small on the car, 18" seem to suit better at a distance, 19" close up lol.

I think 17's are ok .I personally dont like ultra low profile tyres .i think the white Twinz car looks great that has quite a large profile tyres.

ah vodkashot the rota wheels you had are the ones im looking at getting but i prefer the rear spokes that come in towards the center rather than the straight that are on the front. Is there a reason there different? im persuming its a wider rear? if so do you know if they do them in the smaller j for the fronts?

You dont have to get staggered alloys, if you find somewhere that sells single alloys you can get all 4 the same, the rears were indeed wider than the fronts.

  • Author

i want staggered as i want gtr d's on the rear and gtr's on the front but i want the same style as the rears you had on yours but on the front of mine but i wasn't sure if rota does them that stlye in say an 8.5 or 9 j wheel? or if a 9.5 j would fit?

definately get 18s. Trust me if you ended up spending loads of money on a set of 17s you'll regret not going an inch bigger.

the ones on mine were 8.5j front with a +35 offset and the rears were 9.5 with a +35 offset, if i had lowered the car like my silver n/a they would of looked the nuts, but alas my black car just looked like a tractor lol

yeah i think im sold on 18's and i have seen a pair of gtr wheels but there 9.5 j with a 30 offset will they fit on the front?

must say baz i really like your black zed oh and thanks for the bits forgot to let you know i got them alright!

they will fit but will sit 5mm into the arch so a 5mm spacer (can get them from halfrauds or ebay) will do wonders to help the stance.
